Question: Is the name really changing?
Answer: Yes. As part of the nationwide rollout of the new branding campaign, the national organization will also change its name.
Q: Why change the name?
A: It’s part of our strategy to create a strong, recognizable, national brand that anyone, anywhere will associate with quality child care.
Q: When will the name change happen?
A: The name change is already underway. By the end of 2012, we will be known as Child Care Aware® of America.
Q: Will you still be a membership organization?
A: Absolutely. We will still be a membership organization with Child Care Resource and Referral agencies as the backbone of that membership.
Q: Will my organization have to change its name?
A: No, no one is required to change their name. However, if you are interested in joining the brand effort, please contact Child Care Aware® of America by email at request@usa.childcareaware.org.
Q: Will I still be able to get NDS and Best Practices?
A: Yes. The products remain the same and we will continue to deliver them the way we currently do.
Q: Do I have to reprint all my material that has the NACCRRA logo on it?
A: No. All we ask is that as you print new items, use the new logo.
